Who is behind Mickey-bot?
The developer and owner of Mickey-bot is Miklós Orbán. Mobile porting was made by Avni Hafuzi.
The owner would like to express his gratitude to Patrick Phillips and Avni Hafuzi for their invaluable support to the project. Other contributors and special thanks should go to Péter Tóth and Márk Kakas.
The owner retains all intellectual property rights related to Mickey-bot. You are not entitled to replicate, copy, license, multiply, modify, recreate, publish, distribute Mickey-bot, and you are not entitled to incorporate Mickey-bot to any other piece of intellectual property, device or program, nor are you entitled to present yourself as owner or author of Mickey-bot.
How does it work?
Mickey-bot is a prompt engineering tool that we designed to operate on the basis of OpenAI’s ChatGPT application in order to gain better answers from ChatGPT in the field of law. Mickey-bot transforms the input you provide to it (including your question, the jurisdiction your question refers to and the context) i.e. generates a prompt that we believe will result the best (i.e. most adequate) legal answer from ChatGPT. This is called prompt engineering. Prompt engineering is a method to optimise the question or instruction (a so-called prompt) you ask from a Large Language Model (LLM) based application like ChatGPT. Adequately designed or “engineered” prompts result in more adequate answers from the LLM application you use them for.
In our case, Mickey-bot is designed to transform your original input into a properly worded legal question. After transformation, Mickey-bot sends the prompt to ChatGPT and returns the answers it received based on your input and the prompt Mickey-bot prepared.
Please note that prompt engineering is a developing field, therefore, we only undertake to transform your input into a proper prompt on a best effort basis, under no condition do we promise any level of accuracy or improvement of accuracy or adequacy based our prompt.
Since Mickey-bot provides you the answer from ChatGPT, please consult OpenAI’s terms and conditions for using ChatGPT, the same limitations and exclusions apply to the answers Mickey-bot provides you with. Please note, that we are not responsible for any content OpenAI places on its website.
Mickey-bot’s uptime depends on ChatGPT’s availability, we can only guarantee uptime if ChatGPT is available. The application will let you know if it is unable to connect to ChatGPT. We do not undertake any SLAs, we reserve the right to terminate or limit Mickey-bot any time without a prior warning.
You are obliged to use Mickey-bot in accordance with these terms and conditions. You are not allowed to install plug-ins or other programs, viruses, phishing, or any other harmful programs on Mickey-bot that inhibit or deny proper use of the application for you or for any other users.
Is Mickey-bot a legal service?
No, it is not. As stated above, Mickey-bot is exclusively a prompt engineering application designed to enhance the results you would otherwise receive from ChatGPT. Consequently, we fully exclude any and all liability for damages (direct, consequential or otherwise) stemming from the use of Mickey-bot, we assume no responsibility for the decisions you make on the basis of the answers Mickey-bot provides you with. Mickey-bot is not intended to provide legal or other professional services, therefore Mickey-bot’s operation is not bound by any bar regulations. Please note that we do not generate the answers, we do not hold any database or legal knowledge, the answers you will access are based on ChatGPT’s algorithm and the law-optimised prompt we send to ChatGPT on the basis of your input. We assume no liability for any incorrect, false or otherwise flawed information you provide us with.
The owner is a private individual, he does not operate Mickey-bot in business context, therefore, by accepting the present terms and conditions you will not enter into a consumer contract.
While Mickey-bot can be beneficial to provide you with answers to your legal questions, please consult a lawyer in case you are facing a legal issue or have a question related to law.
Data protection
Mickey-bot does not process any personal data. We do not place any cookies on your device, we do not track your activity on the application. We cannot identify you on the basis of your input. However, please note that the prompt we generate based on your input will be sent to ChatGPT which includes transferring non-personal data to the USA. In case you are concerned, please read OpenAI’s privacy policy.
